Kamran Heirati was born in 1976 in Iran. He received his Master’s of architecture in 2001 from the Azad University in Tehran, Iran. While a student, he collaborated with several architectural consultants and established Kamran Heirati Architects upon graduation. During his professional career, he has also instructed and lectured in different institutes and universities. He has received several awards and nominations for his built projects such as the first prize for Villa Safadasht in Karaj-2017, and the second prize for Ehsanpood Textile Factory-2007. His projects have been published in several local and international journals.
Tallan Khosravizadeh was born in 1987. Graduated from faculty of architecture, Azad university of Hamedan in 2009, she began her career in her father’s architectural firm and attended in several projects in Kermanshah, Erbil and Suleymanieh-Iraq. She designed projects in different fields of architecture including Vertical Cemetery in Japan, Theresa square in Albania, and Anthropological museum in Kurdistan. Her collaboration with Kamran Heirati was formed in 2015, which resulted with a new firm, Kamran Heirati/Tallan Khosravizadeh (kanLan) in 2019. She has developed award winning projects such as Villa Shalikar, Villa Ab Pari, Menoke Beach in Toronto, Kanha complex in India, and Aghabozorgi building in Tehran.
Among the notable projects designed by KanLan are the residential master planning for Kanha’s Heartfulness Meditation Centre in India, Menoke beach master planning in Toronto, and Villa Daryakenar in Mazandaran, Iran.
